03 / A LITTLE CONTEXT

I like knowing
how the whole
thing works.

My work moves between the interface and the systems behind it. That has meant C++ desktop applications, web tools, secure file workflows, and now a finance app of my own.

At ConnectWise, I work on an established product with product, QA, and engineering teams. With Monetor, I take on the whole loop—from transaction data to the small details of editing a receipt.

01 / PROJECT NOTES

FOUNDER & PRODUCT ENGINEER · 2026 — PRESENT

Monetor

Finance tracking without a bank login. A product I’m building from transaction capture to the details of reviewing a receipt.

The idea

I founded Monetor to make finance tracking less dependent on bank aggregators. Eligible Apple Wallet purchases come in through a user-installed Shortcut; receipt scans and manual entries cover the rest. No Plaid connection or bank credentials are required.

The app and data layer

I built the React Native/Expo app and its Supabase-backed transaction flows. My work covers wallets, transactions, savings, bills, goals, loans, refunds, modal workflows, iOS build targeting, and localized navigation.

Receipts people can correct

A scan produces an editable expense, not a final answer. I built receipt scanning and line-item editing, then refined category selection, smart totals, image normalization, keyboard-aware scrolling, and delete/discard confirmations.

AI with a specific job

I integrated receipt scanning, loan payment scheduling, and personalized financial insights. Monetor AI explains changes in tracked activity and offers a next step; it provides information rather than financial advice.

One month, several currencies

The product brings spending, recurring payments, savings targets, and assets into one view. It keeps original amounts visible across currencies, so a purchase in AMD and a balance in USD can be understood together.

The whole product loop

As founder and product engineer, I work across both the underlying transaction data and the mobile interface. That includes the less visible details: reviewing imported information, editing it safely, and keeping the navigation usable in more than one language.

CONNECTWISE · 2025 — PRESENT

Axcient x360Sync

Business file sharing with a way back when something goes wrong. I work on the features behind access, recovery, and administration.

Who it serves

x360Sync is Axcient’s business-grade sync and share product for managed service providers and their clients. It combines access across devices, team collaboration, external sharing, and continuous backup.

My contribution

At ConnectWise, I build and maintain end-to-end product features. I investigate issues across the frontend, backend, and platform flows, then coordinate production changes with product, QA, and engineering.

Recovery workflows

My work includes continuous backup, bulk restore, and point-in-time restore. These sit within a product that can recover earlier file states after unwanted changes, deletions, or ransomware.

Sharing and permissions

I contribute to access policies and admin/security controls. In x360Sync, sharing can require recipient login credentials and give different users different upload or delete permissions.

Enterprise identity

I support Active Directory and 2FA-related integrations. These workflows connect everyday file access to the identity and security requirements of an organization.

Reporting and production work

I contribute to reporting alongside feature development and issue investigation. The work spans the product’s screens and the platform behavior behind them, with QA and release coordination as part of shipping a change.

METAX APPLICATIONS · LEVIATHAN & ISRC

File transfer.
And what came next.

I built applications on Metax’s decentralized network: file sharing at Leviathan, followed by business software at ISRC and camera live streaming.

The file-transfer workflow

Leviathan’s FileTransfer lets someone upload a file to the Metax network and share it through a generated URL. The application uses a decentralized platform for storing and exchanging data across peers.

Encryption and chunked transfers

At Leviathan, I developed and launched the Node.js peer-to-peer file transfer system. My work included encryption and splitting file transfers into chunks, alongside the full-stack web application.

The platform behind it

Metax provides distributed storage and transfer, access management, encryption, and persistent content management. Its peers can reorganize as nodes join, leave, or fail. My applications were built on top of that platform.

A decentralized CRM/ERP

Later, at Instigate Scientific Research Center, I built a CRM/ERP system for businesses on top of Metax. It applied the same decentralized platform to business software and operational data.

Camera live streaming

I also built camera live-streaming software on Metax, using our own software and open-source code, including deployments on Raspberry Pis. The streaming workflow ran within that software stack.

Getting it released

At Leviathan, I refined requirements with stakeholders, prepared documentation, tested releases, and deployed the application. My work covered both implementation and getting the system into a usable, released form.
